Hurricane Sandy and the subsequent flooding caused some damage to the boathouse and some of the boats. Anyone who can come and assist in a boathouse cleanup is welcome. Please bring any brooms, rakes, shovels, heavy-duty trash bags, and your strong spirits to put the place back together again. It will be a good time to pitch in for the boathouse, and a good time to catch up with folks who have been displaced by the storm.
To everyone in the Brigantine community, and the Barrier islands, our hopes and prayers go out to you that you get what you need to be back on your feet and get your lives going again.
